Fort Knox are the Prairie Junior Hockey League champions for the first time in their franchise history.

Fort Knox hosted the Saskatoon Westley’s in front of a packed house for game six of their league final series.

Fort Knox came out strong, opening the scoring near the midpoint of the first frame. Carson Berezuik tallied his seventh of the post-season to open the scoring. Fort Knox continued to pour it on, and the pressure paid off. Madden Wallis would score with 2:55 left in the period to give Fort Knox a 2-0 lead heading into the first intermission.

In the second period, the Westleys and Fort Knox exchanged chances, but neither team was able to put the puck in the net. Through 40 minutes, Fort Knox had a 2-0 lead on the scoreboard and a 20-18 advantage on the shot clock.

The Saskatoon Westleys came out flying in the third period, but Fort Knox goaltender Jackson Miller would not be beaten. Fort Knox added a pair of goals to make the final 4-0 while Miller made 30 saves for the shutout.
