Melville Millionaires beat Humboldt Broncos in shootout for 11th straight victory

Millionaires and North Stars extend win streaks to increase playoff positioning

The Melville Millionaires are now winners of 11 straight games after a 3-2 shootout victory over the Humboldt Broncos on Saturday night.

Jadon Iyogun, William Forsberg and Raine Hodge all scored in the shootout for the Mils who pulled three points of the Viterra division lead.

Alex Morrison and Brendan Olson scored for the Mils, while Jacob Strizzi and Rylan Hue scored for the Broncos in regulation.

Mils netminder Ben Laurette stopped 33 shots to earn the win, while Dazza Mitchell made 29 saves on 31 shots in the loss.

The Moneymen return to action on Tuesday night hosting the Nipawin Hawks.
