ESTEVAN - The Estevan Bruins recent offensive output dried up Wednesday night.

Estevan lost 3-0 to the Yorkton Terriers at Affinity Place. The shutout defeat came after the Black and Gold had scored at least four goals in each of their previous five games, picking up three wins and two extra-time losses in that span.

Jaron Desnoyers opened the scoring on a Yorkton power play with just over seven minutes to play in the opening period.

It remained a 1-0 game until midway through the third. Keenan Ingram scored midway through the frame to give Yorkton some insurance and added his second of the game into an empty net with 1:53 to play in the game.

Kyle Kelsey made 29 saves for Estevan in the loss, including 13 in the second period. Callum Creig stopped all 23 shots he faced for Yorkton.

Estevan (3-4-2) has a lengthy break upcoming, as they won't be back on the ice until Oct. 25, when they host the defending SJHL champions, the Melfort Mustangs, starting at 7 p.m.
