REGINA — The time is almost at hand.

Fans of the Saskatchewan Roughriders have watched their team rattle off two wins on the road to start the 2024 campaign, but this Sunday is the first game at Mosaic Stadium. You know fans are pumped, and to make this home opener even more special, it's also the team’s salute to the Canadian Armed Forces.

It all kicks off with the Coors Light Party In the Park, where the Rock Band of the Canadian Armed Forces will be performing, along with the usual fun activities like dodgeball, and lots of fun stuff for kids too like face painting and inflatables.

The Armed Forces will be singing the national anthem, and there will be a massive Canadian flag on the field. The Royal Canadian Airforce will be staging a flyover at the end of the anthem.

The Rock Band of the Canadian Armed Forces will perform during halftime.

Don’t forget to plan a safe ride home after the game, either a designated driver, taxi or ride share, or Rider Transit.
