The Saskatchewan Roughriders went through a full workout Thursday, as opposed to a walk-thru like Wednesday, at Mosaic Stadium.

The day off seemed to be just what the Riders needed as most non-participants from Wednesday were back on the field. However, still not taking part in practice were Running Back A.J. Ouellette, Left Tackle Jermarcus Hardrick, and Center Peter Godber, who missed the practice as he is dealing with a personal matter.

The latter two absences coupled with the long-term injury to Phillip Blake is going to mean some fancy roster work by the Riders. At practice today, Ryan Sceviour was taking some reps at centre while Zack Fry and Jacob Brammer were shuttled into the line on a couple of occasions.

According to Head Coach Corey Mace post practice, Godber is 50-50 to play on Sunday.

When Coach was asked about Ouellette being ready to go for the home opener, he has no doubt that he will be ready to roll.

Also at practice today there was a lot of communication within the secondary in the teams period. While, in individual positional play there was a period devoted entirely to 10-15-and-20 yard drops.

The Roughriders will be back on the field tomorrow at Mosaic Stadium, however, the practice will be behind closed doors.
