TERRIERS 5, NORTH STARS 4 (SO)

Ethan Farrow turned aside 46 shots, including two of three in shootout to help the Yorkton Terriers complete the weekend sweep of Battlefords, with a 5-4 victory over the North Stars.

Jaron Desnoyers had 1G 1A and also the shootout winner for the Terriers who got singles from Jye Zawatsky, Tyler Palin, and William Leonard.

Braden Nienaber led the North Stars with two goals and one assist while Gavin Granger & Colton Getzlaff had 1G 1A each.

The Terriers now sit just one point out of first place in the SJHL standings with a 12-7-0 record.


BRONCOS 3, MILLIONAIRES 2 (SO)

Boris Kofman scored the lone goal in the shootout to help the Humboldt Broncos beat the Melville Millionaires 4-3 on Saturday night.

Kye Benoche and Connor Miller scored in regulation for the Broncos, while Raiden Zacharias and Boston Harkness replied for the Moneymen, who are now winless in their last four.

Brady Holtvogt made 31 saves on 33 shots in the win for Humboldt, while Mils goalie Nick Genette stopped 27 of 29.

The Millionaires return to action on Monday afternoon visiting the Weyburn Red Wings.
