Melville Millionaires win streak moves to five games after home win over the Notre Dame Hounds

Mustangs and Millionaires extend lengthy winning streaks on Super Saturday

HOUNDS 2, MILLIONAIRES 6

Jadon Iyogun had one goals, two assists while Nick Genette made 29 saves as the Melville Millionaires win streak grew to five games with a 6-2 victory over the Notre Dame Hounds.

Simon Parini, Edward Knittig, Boston Harkness and Evan Leden each had one goal, one assist each while Brendan Olson also scored.

Tavon McCorrister and Damian Metastasio replied for the Hounds.

The Millionaires return to action on Friday night hosting the Kindersley Klippers.

NORTH STARS 2, TERRIERS 4

The Yorkton Terriers got the game winner from Harrison Aldridge with just over three minutes left in regulation to lead them to a 4-2 win over the Battlefords North Stars on Saturday night.

Captain Jaron Desnoyers led the way for the Terriers with two goals while Riley Cormer opened the scoring in the first period.

Nikita Ivashchenko and Anthony Campbell provided the offence for the North Stars.

Terriers netminder Callum Creig made 23 saves to earn the win, Justen Maric stopped 21 shots in the loss.

The Terriers will go right back at it on Super Bowl Sunday hosting the Notre Dame Hounds at 7:00 PM.
