1. Melfort Mustangs (36-7-0)  -

After dropping two straight for the first time this season, the Mustangs are back on track after a busy week. They won four straight, allowing just four goals against. Youngster Madden Mullawka stepped in nicely for the injured Kristian Coombs, earning four wins and stopping 79 of 83 shots.

2. Flin Flon Bombers (31-10-3-1)  -

The Bombers dropped their first regulation game in over three months to start the week, but rebounded with a pair of convincing home victories over Estevan to wrap up the week. Ryder Ringor continues to drive the way offensively with another five point weekend.

3. Weyburn Red Wings (28-14-2) -

The Red Wings dropped two of three up north as they began a stretch of five straight on the road through Melfort and La Ronge. They still have a three point lead atop the Viterra division but Yorkton is nipping at their heels.

4.  Melville Millionaires (23-19-2-1) +1

It was a quiet week for the Moneymen but took care of business with a convincing victory over Notre Dame on Saturday night. Six game home-stand continues this weekend with two huge matchups with Kindersley on their Family/Billet Weekend.

5. Yorkton Terriers (27-16-1)  -1

Two nice rebound wins at home for the Terriers to inch themselves closer to top spot in the division and some breathing room in the top 4. Captain Jaron Desnoyers continues to be a man on a mission with 12 points in seven games since returning from injury.

6. Humboldt Broncos  (23-18-2-1) -

Despite getting shut out on Saturday in Kindersley, it was a pretty solid week for the Broncos with two wins in three games in their 5 through 8 battle for playoff positioning. Dazza Mitchell continues to give the Broncos a chance to win on any given night.

7. Battlefords North Stars (22-18-3-2) -

The North Stars snapped their lengthy losing skid with a sweep of Notre Dame before falling on the road in Yorkton on Saturday. A crucial 5 game stretch coming up with four against Nutrien division rivals.

8.  Kindersley Klippers (22-20-2-1) -

A 42 save shutout on Saturday night from Cody Jaman helped the Klippers earn a big road win in Humboldt after a disappointing effort on Friday night at home. Goaltending will be a huge effect on the success down the stretch

9. La Ronge Ice Wolves (18-22-1-2) -

The Ice Wolves earned a split this past weekend with the Red Wings on home ice as their playoff berths are clinging on by a thread. Two games at home this week, before five straight on the road as points are needed now as much as possible from here on out.

10.  Estevan Bruins (14-23-5-1) -

A tough road trip for the Bruins saw them drop all three games this past week scoring only three goals in the process, might just put an end to possible playoff aspirations.

11.  Nipawin Hawks  (9-29-3-3)   +1

The Hawks earned their biggest win of the year and most solid performance snapping the Bombers 26 game points streak with blanking last Tuesday. They can continue to play some good hockey especially on home ice the last month.

This Week: Tuesday @ La Ronge / Friday vs. Weyburn / Sunday vs. Notre Dame

Top Scorer:  Eric Hoiness - 29 points in 44 games


12. Notre Dame Hounds (11-28-2-2) -1

Hounds losing skid has now hit eight straight games, and it doesn’t get much easier this weekend with three games in three days stretch including two at the Whitney Forum.
