Ryquell Armstead out with shoulder injury, Frankie Hickson starts at RB for Riders in Edmonton

The Saskatchewan Roughriders have multiple starting lineup changes for the team's game in Week 18.

Running back Ryquell Armstead has been ruled out with a shoulder injury and Frankie Hickson starts in his place. The 27-year-old Hickson has played in seven games this season, carrying the football 76 times for 392 yards, averaging 5.2 per carry, and one touchdown while recording eight receptions for 80 yards.

Receiver Shawn Bane Jr. and offensive lineman Jacob Brammer are out with knee injuries, Jerreth Sterns and Nick Jones draw in at slotback and right guard respectively on Marc Mueller's offence.

Defensively, Bryan Cox Jr. returns to his defensive end spot after missing Week 17 due to illness. Habakkuk Baldonado, who has one sack in each of his last two games, goes back to his depth role but is a game-time decision with a knee issue. Deontai Williams serves his one-game suspension for a dangerous, illegal tackle and striking another Redblacks player in a non-football act. Amari Henderson slides into his spot at boundary corner. C.J. Reavis retakes his strong-side linebacker position after missing one game with a knee injury. DaMarcus Fields slides back to field halfback.

Saskatchewan travels to Edmonton as the Riders take on the Elks on Saturday at Commonwealth Stadium. Countdown to Kick-off begins with Justin Dunk and Wes Cates at 2 p.m. Dave Thomas and Luc Mullinder join at 4 p.m. with the kick-off to follow at 5 p.m. on the Co-operators Roughrider Radio Network.
