Yorkton Terriers take five game winning streak into holiday break

Mustangs, Bombers, Terriers and Klippers all extend win streaks on final night of play before break

The Yorkton Terriers captured their fifth straight on Saturday by doubling up the Weyburn Red Wings 6-3 on home ice.

Theirry Laliberte’s second goal of the game broke a 3-3 tie, 10:12 into the third period and helped the Terriers to their 18th win of the season.

David Coyle also had two goals, one assist for the Terriers who got singles from Jeff Hammond and Jaron Desnoyers.

Callum Creig made 27 saves on 30 shots to get the win in the Terrier goal.

Liam Fitzgerald, Jaxson Ruthven and Ethan DeKay replied for the Red Wings.

The Terriers are now officially on their holiday break and will return to action on December 30th hosting the Melville Millionaires. GX94 will broadcast the game with the pregame show starting at 6:50 PM and play-by -play kicking off at 7:00 PM.
