1. Melfort Mustangs (23-4-0) -
An even dozen games now without a loss for the defending champions after a couple of wins over the weekend against Humboldt. The Mustangs have scored a league-high 107 goals on the season.

2. Yorkton Terriers (16-9-1) -
A quiet week for the Terriers with the only action a wild OT win in Nipawin where they found a way despite not being at their best. Keenan Ingram continues to be dynamite offensively.

3. Flin Flon Bombers (16-9-2) -
The Bombers dropped their first decision in almost three weeks to Battlefords, but their point streak was extended to eleven. And they welcome back Koen Senft, Luke Lepper and Head Coach Mike Reagan back this weekend after representing Canada West.

4. Battlefords North Stars (15-8-3-2) -
Netminder Justen Maric returned to form with a couple dazzling performances especially in Saturday’s win over the Bombers. HUGE home and home this weekend this weekend to keep a stronghold of the division lead

5. Weyburn Red Wings (16-8-2) -
The “Assiniboia” Weyburn Red Wings won two of their three games over the weekend including a split with Kindersley in their temporary home. Two big division tilts with Yorkton this week that could set the tone in the Viterra division.

6. Humboldt Broncos (14-13-1) -
The inconsistency continues a bit for the Broncos who won one of three of the past weekend including getting swept over the weekend by Melfort. Humboldt needs a big week in South East Sask this week.

7. Melville Millionaires (14-13-2-1) -
After blowing a third period lead on Friday night, the Millionaires responded with a Doug Johnson-type game smothering the Bruins on Saturday in a much-needed win highlighted by a shutout from newcomer Ben Laurette in his SJHL debut.

8. Kindersley Klippers (14-15-1) -
Like the Millionaires, the Klippers earned a MUCH-NEEDED win in the second half of their weekend set with Weyburn. Brett O’Halloran continues to be great between the pipes in his rookie season

9. La Ronge Ice Wolves (14-15-1) -
It was kind of a mixed-bag week for the Ice Wolves, but wrapped up with a shutout win at home to get some positivity. Still, 24 goals against in their last four games is not a recipe for success.

Benny Polhill has made twelve consecutive starts and gives his team a chance to win each night, but their offense just went dry in their effort of a weekend sweep over Melville.
