The Weyburn Red Wings earned their second win of the SJHL regular season on Tuesday night with a 6-2 road victory over Melville, handing the Millionaires their first regulation loss of the season.
Ethan Dekay scored twice for the Red Wings, who also got single goals from Chab Lobreau, Blake Betson, Drew Molde, and Jaxson Ruthven.
SJHL scoring leader Caden Drury and Mils captain Matt Kjemhus scored for the Millionaires, whose record dropped to 5-1-1 on the season.
Angelo Zol got the nod for Weyburn and made 27 saves in the win, while Mils’ goaltender Loic Morin turned aside 24 of 30 shots in the losing effort.
The Millionaires return to action on Friday night, visiting La Ronge, while the Red Wings will play in Assiniboia against the Notre Dame Hounds on Friday night.
