It’s getting sound like a broken record, but that's ok for Trevor Blevins and his squad who had another perfect week with two wins including a dominating win over Battlefords. Reilly Kotai has developed into a game-changer offensively for the “Stangs who don’t seem to be slowing down.

2. Flin Flon Bombers (13-9-1) +2
Bombers join the top-ranked Mustangs as one of the hottest teams in the SJHL, winners of their last seven despite losing leader scorer Carter Anderson to the BCHL. Matthew Kieper continues his dominance in net with a 5-0 record since he joined the club

3. Yorkton Terriers (13-9-1) -
The Terriers find themselves on a little bit of a slide after dropping both games of their weekend road trip through Nipawin & Flin Flon. Scoring will not be a problem for this team, but right now it’s keeping the puck out as they’ve given up at least four goals in each of their last five games.

4. Weyburn Red Wings (13-6-2) -2
Arena problems in Weyburn had prevented the Red Wings from playing much as of late, but they did return to action on Saturday for the first time in 14 days and dropped an overtime decision to the Bruins. Busy stretch with 9 games in 15 nights in December as they have games in hand with other top Viterra division opponents.

5. Melville Millionaires (13-8-2-1) +1
You knew a Doug Johnson coached team wouldn’t be in a funk for too much longer, and looks like the Mils have found their game again, winners of three straight and a big part of that? The play of goaltender Nick Genette, and their much improved special teams.

6. Humboldt Broncos (13-9-1) -1
Nice rebound for the Broncos on Saturday against Nipawin after a tough road loss in Wilcox earlier in the week. A team that’s still trying to find their consistency which comes and goes for more than they would like.

7. Battlefords North Stars (12-7-3-1) -
It was a weekend to forget for the North Stars after they laid an egg to the defending champs on a rare off-night from goaltender Justen Maric who didn’t get much help. This team is far too disciplined to rebound back quickly. After seven straight on road, Battlefords play five of six at home to wrap up the pre-break schedule

8. La Ronge Ice Wolves (12-12-1) -
The Ice Wolves ended up with four wins and four loss record to wrap up their eight-straight home stretch in November. They’ve played their way back up with the top contenders in the league led by SJHL MVP of the Month Mason Bueckert.

9. Kindersley Klippers (12-13-1) -
The month of November couldn’t end quick enough for the Klippers who won only three times in 12 games during the month. The great start from them still has them well within striking distance of the top half but December doesn’t get much easier with some of their opponents.

10. Estevan Bruins (9-9-2-1) -
Two more one goal wins over the weekend pushes the Bruins’ win streak to four straight and among the teams that have played the least amount of games, still some chances to continue their rise into playoff position before the break. Benjam Polhill earned victories in net in the last four victories.

11. Notre Dame Hounds (7-16-1-1) -
Spencer Borsos continues to be a workhorse for them playing in 24 of the teams first 26 games and as mentioned before gives his team a chance each night. This squad is only going to continue to get better, especially if they can find some more offence.

Top Scorer: Marko Djordjevic - 23 points in 25 games
12. Nipawin Hawks (4-15-1-2) -
More offence and better goaltending has allowed the Hawks some more success as of late which included a big overtime win over Yorkton on Friday night. Still going to be some growing pains, but playing much more competitive and urgent hockey.
