Melville Millionaires offence sputters in road defeat to Humboldt Broncos

MILLIONAIRES 3, BRONCOS 6

The Melville Millionaires’ record dropped to 10-5-1 on the season on Saturday night after a 6-3 loss on the road to the Humboldt Broncos.

Marik Mamic led the way for the Broncos with 2G 1A, while Rylan Hue, Oakley Mcllwain, Jeter Korte and Tre Fouquette also scored for the Broncos.

Gaborik Carslon, Edward Knittig and Simon Parini replied for the Millionaires who got 30 saves on 36 shots from Luke Brunen in the loss.

The Millionaires return to action on Friday night on the road against the Estevan Bruins. You can hear the game on GX94 radio with Benny Walchuk starting with the pregame show at 6:50PM.

TERRIERS 4. ICE WOLVES 2

Keenan Ingram scored twice as the Yorkton Terriers continued their winning ways with a 4-2 win in Churchbridge over the La Ronge Ice Wolves.

Quinn Schutte and Aiden Knutson also hit the back of the net for the Terriers, while replying for Ice Wolves were Dimitri Toporowski and Taite Donkin.

Terriers netminder Ethan Farrow made 23 saves to earn his seventh win of the season.

The Terriers head back on the road next Friday and Saturday for a pair of games with the Battlefords North Stars
