The Melville Millionaires clinched their first preseason victory of 2024 on Tuesday night with an impressive 10-4 triumph over the MJHL’s Waywayseecappo Wolverines in a matchup held on the Ochapowace First Nation.
Flynn Maxcy stole the show for the Moneymen with a dazzling hat-trick, while Caden Drury added to the scoreboard with one goal and three assists.
Contributions also came from Peyton Allard, Boston Harkness, Ryan Roethke, Logan Goodwin, Jackson Lee, and Simon Parini, each netting a goal.
Despite the Wolverines' efforts with goals from Drew Peters, Sebastian Stone, Kayne Van Metre, and Lucas Perry, they'll be looking for redemption in Melville on Wednesday night.
