The 2024/25 Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League regular season will begin on Friday, September 20th as the full schedule was released on Canada Day Monday.

Opening night will feature five games including the Melville Millionaires visiting the Estevan Bruins, the Yorkton Terriers entertaining the Weyburn Red Wings, Kindersley in North Battleford, Nipawin travels to Flin Flon and the defending champion Melfort Mustangs kicking off their season in La Ronge.

“It is an exciting time for the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League. Last season we had incredible parody and competitive balance, exciting playoffs, and one of the most memorable league championships in recent memory. We can’t wait for the puck to drop on our upcoming season", SJHL Commissioner Kyle McIntyre said in a release.

Each twelve-member club will play a total of 56 games throughout the campaign which ends on Sunday, March 16th, 2025 with each team facing each in-division rival eight times, and each out-of-division club four times each.

A change for this season will be the elimination of the SJHL Showcase in Warman, as this year the league and the MJHL will come together for two events.

The first event takes place in November in Saskatchewan and will act as an elite identification camp for the upcoming 2024 World Junior A Challenge while the second event will be the annual MJHL – SJHL Showcase which will be held in Winnipeg at the end of January 2025.
