MOOSEJAWTODAY.COM -- Fans of the Moose Jaw Warriors already had the first weekend of the 2024-25 regular season circled on their calendars, and now they know how the rest of the campaign will play out.

The defending Western Hockey League champions announced the remainder of their schedule for the upcoming season earlier this week, with everything kicking off on Friday, Sept. 20 when they travel to Brandon to face the Wheat Kings.

The following night will be a big one -- with the Prince Albert Raiders in town, the Warriors will raise their first ever WHL Championship banner at the Moose Jaw Events Centre, with the festivities taking place on Saturday, Sept, 21.

The season then gets going in earnest, and will feature 12 Friday games, 11 Saturday games, eight Tuesday games, one Wednesday game, one Thursday game and one Monday game.

The Warriors will play four games in September, including two at home.

There will be four home games and 11 total in October, which includes the Warriors heading out on their five-game B.C. Division road trip, starting on Friday, Oct. 25 in Kelowna and wrapping up on Saturday, Nov. 2 in Vancouver.

The team will have five home games in November among the nine games in the month.

In December, the Warriors have 10 games in total with four home games, which includes the return of the New Year’s Eve game as the Warriors will finish 2024 with a battle against the rival Regina Pats.

Turning the calendar over to 2025 will see the Warriors have their busiest month with eight home games and 13 games overall in January.

February sees the team with an even split of six home games and six road games, including a 2 p.m. puck drop on Family Day (Monday, Feb. 17) against Prince Albert.

The Warriors finish the regular season with nine games in March, including five on home ice.

The pre-season schedule will see things kick off with a pair of neutral site games against the Regina Pats on Friday, Sept. 6 in Estevan and Saturday, Sept. 7 in Assiniboia.

The following weekend will see a pair of contests against the Swift Current Broncos, with the Warriors in Swift Current on Friday, Sept. 13 and hosting the Broncos on Saturday, Sept. 14.

Next up for the Warriors is the annual Alumni Golf Tournament, which takes place this week at the Hillcrest Golf Club. The social and registration will take place on Thursday, July 4, followed by the tournament on Friday, July 5.
