YORKTON - A night after a shut-out win in Flin Flon the Terriers visited the Icewolves in LaRonge.

The host team started things with a big first period.

Jacob Cossette opened scoring at 3:40 of the opening period for a 1-0 LaRonge lead.

A powerplay effort by Dustin Renas at 11:13 knotted things.

But late goals by Sage Roberts and a second one from Cossette gave the Icewolves a 3-1 lead through 20-minutes of play.

A goal by Tyson Matthews 4:27 into the middle frame extended the lead to 4-1.

Then the Terrier offence kicked in.

A powerplay goal by Renas at the seven-minute mark started a four-goal barrage in just more than six minutes.

Evan Auld scored next for Yorkton, and then William Leonard contributed a pair, the first with a man advantage, and the Terriers inched ahead 5-4.

A powerplay effort by Dmitri Toporowski at 14:23 tied the game 5-5 headed to the third period.

The tie held until the 16:37 mark of the final stanza when Vinay Junek scored the eventual game-winner for the Terriers in a 6-5 final.

Ethan Farrow was in the Terrier net facing 29 shots in the win, while Logan Falk took the loss for LaRonge facing 38-shots.
