Saskatchewan Roughriders' quarterback Trevor Harris has been sharp since returning from a left knee injury in Week 11.

Harris suffered the setback in Week 3 against the Hamilton Tiger-Cats and attacked his rehab to work back to full health and play elite football at the game's most difficult position. The 38-year-old leads the CFL in passing yards (2,121) and completions (165) since returning as a starter while producing the best QB rating (106.4) in the league. He ranks second in touchdown passes (11) and completion percentage (71.1) this seven-game span.

"I'm trying to do my one-twelfth and do the best I can. I've always prided myself on trying to be as consistent as I can for the team. I'm seeing the field well, that's a credit to coach's game plan and trying to follow through with my part. We have a great system, coach [Marc] Mueller calls it well, our receivers are getting to their spots, catching the football and making stuff happen, our offensive line is protecting well," Harris said.

"I do feel I'm in a good groove seeing the field, what's going to happen and how things are going to unfold as I see my pre- and post-snap pictures. It's about making sure I'm moving through my progressions, doing what the coaches teach me throughout the week in terms of what our game plan is and how we can progress through plays. That's really when the magic happens, when receivers come out of their break and the ball is in the air. If we can have that happen and continue to improve, it's really tough to play defence against."

The six-foot-three, 212-pound QB has produced six 300-plus-yard passing games in 10 starts this season, including two straight during the Riders three-game win streak. He has an 18-9 touchdown-to-interception ratio while adding two rushing touchdowns in 2024.

"Unbelievable preparation. Understanding his opponent, understanding the game plan. Spending extra time with the receiving corps. He's a pro's pro," head coach Corey Mace said. "Seriously one of the best I've been around as far as preparation. It doesn't matter what his title is, he's going to go overboard to make sure he's prepared."
