David Coyle scored twice, and captain Jaron Desnoyers had one goal and one assist to lead the Yorkton Terriers to a 4-1 victory over the Weyburn Red Wings in Assiniboia on Tuesday night.
Jeff Hammond also scored for the Terriers, while netminder Callum Creig made 28 saves on 29 shots to earn his ninth win of the season.
Ryder Rommelaere scored the lone goal for the Red Wings, who’ll return to Weyburn on Thursday night to take on the Humboldt Broncos at Crescent Point Place.
The Terriers have two more home games before they head out on their holiday break starting on Friday night against the Notre Dame Hounds before a rematch with Weyburn at the Westland Insurance Arena on Saturday night.
