The Yorkton Minor Hockey Advisory panel have announced a new leadership team to guide the Yorkton Kinsmen Maulers U18 AAA hockey program.
The panel, led by Derek Serdachny, Dean Serdachny, Dustin Nehring, Dean Sliva, Grant Ottenbreit, and Karsten Wagner have has announced Jeremy Palanuik as General Manager and Associate Coach, Josh Garbutt as Assistant GM and Assistant Coach and Jason Gordon will return for another year as Head Coach.
Palanuik is a dedicated hockey coach, owner and GM of Regina Extreme Hockey Capitals and has been actively involved in coaching and administration across multiple levels of the game.
Garbutt is a former professional defenseman who brings a high-level playing pedigree and strong regional roots to the Maulers program and will be focused on sharing his hockey knowledge and mentorship with the next generation.
Gordon returns for his second year as Maulers Head Coach is a lifelong Yorkton resident and staple in Saskatchewan hockey circles, and brings over four decades of experience as a player, coach, and mentor.
The Maulers are hosting their 2025 Spring Camp this week at the Westland Arena, with the final day on Thursday wrapping up with their Top 40 game Thursday night starting at 5:00 PM.
