The Melfort Mustangs earned their league-leading 42nd win on Wednesday night after a 4-1 decision over the visiting Yorkton Terriers at the Northern Lights Palace.
SJHL leading goal scorer Reilly Kotai added his 32nd and 33rd goals of the season as the Mustangs scored four unanswered goals in the final 40 minutes after David Coyle got the Terriers on the board in the first.
Mustangs captain Ty Thornton and Ashton Paul also scored for the Mustangs who got 20 saves from Kristian Coombs in the win.
Terriers starter Callum Creig made 30 saves on 34 shots in the loss.
Yorkton will look to snap their four game slide on Friday night visiting the Estevan Bruins. GX94 will broadcast the game with the pregame starting at 6:50 PM and play by play kicking off at 7:00 PM with Benny Walchuk from Affinity Place.
