The sixth edition of the SJHL/MJHL Showcase will take place later this month in Winnipeg, Manitoba and three coaches who’ll lead the three SJHL squads have been selected.
Melfort Mustangs Head Coach Trevor Blevins, Yorkton Terriers’ bench boss Emery Olauson and Cody Mapes of the Weyburn Red Wings will be leading the three respective teams in the event that runs January 27th to January 29th at the Seven Oaks Sportsplex.
“We are looking forward to partnering with our friends from the MJHL, highlighting the top 20Us and 18Us from each league in a best-on-best showcase,” SJHL Commissioner Kyle McIntyre said in a press release.
One team for each league will consist of players 18 and under, while the other two will consist of players 20 and under.
The event’s rosters will be announced in the coming weeks.
