SJHL: Yorkton Terriers earn a wild overtime victory in Highway 10 thriller

Terriers earn sixth straight win in overtime victory

The Yorkton Terriers increased their win streak to six straight on Friday night after a 7-6 overtime win over the Melville Millionaires.

Keenan Ingram scored his second goal of the game, 1:43 into overtime to cap off a four point night as the Terriers improved to 13 and 7 on the season.

Carter Briltz (2G 1A), Thomas Ries (1G 2A) and David Coyle (1G 2A) also had three points for Yorkton who got a single from Riley Cormier.

Raiden Zacharias led the Millionaires with host 1st SJHL Hat-Trick, while Jadon Iyogun, Liam Rodman, and Preston Baerwald (1st SJHL goal) also scored.

Callum Creig made 26 saves on 32 shots in the win for Yorkton, while Mils netminder Luke Brunen stopped 17 of 24 shots in loss.

The two teams will meet again on Saturday night from the CN Community Centre in Yorkton starting at 7:00 PM.
