The sixth edition of the SJHL/MJHL Showcase will take place later this month in Winnipeg, Manitoba and the rosters for the three SJHL squads have been released.
The three teams representing each league will consist of players aged 16 to 20 who will be selected by the coaches from their respective leagues.
“It is a tremendous opportunity to showcase the best 20U and 18U players in the SJHL. As always, we expect a fast and physical game each time out, and this is a rivalry and a series where both leagues and our players come to play every game,” said SJHL Commissioner Kyle McIntyre
The SJHL squads are split up into Team Gold (U20), Team White (U20), and Team Blue (U18).
Melfort Mustangs Head Coach Trevor Blevins (20U White), Yorkton Terriers’ bench boss Emery Olauson (18U Blue) and Cody Mapes (20U Gold) of the Weyburn Red Wings will be leading the three respective teams in the event that runs January 28th and January 29th at the Seven Oaks Sportsplex in Winnipeg, Manitoba.
