Luke Brunen turned aside all 22 shots he faced, earning his first SJHL shutout and leading the Melville Millionaires to a 3-0 victory over the Nipawin Hawks on Tuesday night.

Simon Parini and Ryan Roethke scored power-play goals in the second period, while Jadon Iyogun added some insurance in the third frame for the Millionaires, who recorded their league-tying 10th win of the season.

Hawks netminder Nathan Claydon made 33 saves on 36 shots in his debut with his new team.

The Moneymen return to action on Friday night, entertaining the La Ronge Ice Wolves starting at 7:00 PM at the CN Community Centre.

Elsewhere:

Cole Thomas netted a hat trick, while Mason Bueckert chipped in with one goal and two assists to lead the La Ronge Ice Wolves to a 7-4 win over the Humboldt Broncos.
