Raine Hodge had one goal, one assist while Nick Genette made 25 saves to win his fourth straight start as the Melville Millionaires shaded past the La Ronge Ice Wolves 5-3.
Raiden Zacharias, Simon Parini, Preston Baerwald and Matt Kjemhus also scored for the Mils, while Brendan Olson and Jadon Iyogun chipped in with two assists each.
Nathan Da Silva, Hudson Cameron and Cole Thomas replied for the Ice Wolves.
The Millionaires will look for a ninth straight win on Saturday night hosting the Flin Flon Bombers.
BOMBERS 4, TERRIERS 1
The Yorkton Terriers win streak has ended at six after a 4-1 home loss on Friday night to the Flin Flon Bombers.
Carter Briltz got the Terriers up 1-0 after one period with a power play but the Bombers responded with four unanswered from Anthony Piccionino, Koen Senft, Joey Lies and Ryder Ringor.
Bombers netminder Matthew Kieper made 22 saves to earn the win, while Callum Creig in the Terriers goal made 24 saves.
The Terriers remain in top spot in the Viterra division and will host the La Ronge Ice Wolves on Saturday “Ed Zawatsky Jersey Retirement.”
