The Regina Pat Canadians earned their spot in the Saskatchewan Under-18 AAA league final with a 4-0 win over the Saskatoon Blazers on Tuesday night, winning the best-of-five series in four games.
Jonah Sivertson opened the scoring for Regina with 13 seconds remaining in the opening period. The Pat Canadians outshot the Blazers 15-11 in the opening frame.
Regina pushed the pace, outshooting Saskatoon 18-10 in the second period. The Pat Canadians would be rewarded for their tenacity as Brodie Bowen and Chase Surkan would score on goals assisted by Maddox Schultz.

The Pat Canadians will now play the winner of the Moose Jaw Warriors and Swift Current Legionnaires semi-final for the league title.
