TERRIERS 10, BRUINS 4
David Coyle scored four times while adding two assists for a six point night to help the Yorkton Terriers to a third straight win, a 10-4 decision over the Estevan Bruins on Friday night.
William Leonard and Jaron Desnoyers also chipped in with a goal & three assists each while Riley Cormier, Quinn Tavender, Thierry Laliberte and Carter Briltz also scored for the Terriers.
Ewan Rennie scored twice to lead the way for the Bruins.
Terrier netminder Ethan Farrow stopped 39 of 43 shots to earn the win.
The two teams will meet again on Saturday night back in Yorkton at the Westland Insurance Arena.
KLIPPERS 3, MILLIONAIRES 4 (SO)
Brendan Olson scored twice, while Simon Parini scored the shootout winner to lead the Melville Millionaires past the Kindersley Klippers 4-3 on Friday to earn their sixth straight win.
Jadon Iyogun netted the other Mils marker in regulation while Brock Evans, Jacob Dennis and Russ Demo replied for the Klippers.
Nick Genette earned the win for the Mils in goal stopping 23 shots, and then stopped all three shooters in the shootout.
The Mils and Klippers go right back at it on Saturday night starting at 7:00 PM from the CN Community Centre.
