The Canadian Junior Football League and the Prairie Football Conference jointly released their 2025 schedule on Wednesday.
The season will kick off with all six PFC teams playing on Sunday, August 10. The reigning champion Regina Thunder will open their season on the road in Edmonton to take on the Huskies, while the runner-up Saskatoon Hilltops will also begin their campaign on the road when they take on the Rifles in Winnipeg.
Each team will play an eight-game regular season schedule concluding on Thanksgiving Sunday, October 12th. The top four teams will then advance to the Canadian Bowl Playoffs, which will begin the following weekend with a pair of semi-finals before the PFC title game on October 26th.
The season will also feature the Thunder’s home opener on Sunday, August 24, at Leibel Field, where Regina will have a chance to celebrate their 2024 championship during their home opener.
Additionally, on September 6 at Mosaic Stadium, the Thunder and Hilltops will meet in a rematch of the 2024 championship game.
The season will wrap up in November when the PFC champions will host the CJFL’s Canadian Bowl.
