Canadian offensive lineman Peter Godber returned to Saskatchewan Roughriders practice on Tuesday while American defensive back Rolan Milligan Jr. was absent due to being sick.

Godber has been on the six-game injured list with an ankle injury since he suffered the setback in the Labour Day Classic. The 30-year-old started the first 12 games at centre this season. The six-foot-three, 304-pounder was dressed but did not take reps with the first-team offence as the Riders prepare to play the Stampeders on Saturday.

Defensive end Malik Carney returned to practice after being on the six-game injured list since the Labour Day rematch in Winnipeg. Carney has made 26 tackles, four sacks and one forced fumble in 12 games this season after signing as a free agent in February. The 29-year-old has posted 107 tackles, 17 sacks, three forced fumbles and one forced fumbles during 47 career CFL games.

Saskatchewan hosts Calgary at Mosaic Stadium on Saturday. Countdown to Kick-off begins with a chance to watch Justin Dunk and Wes Cates live at 2 p.m. on YouTube. Luc Mullinder and I join at 4 p.m., with the kick-off to follow at 5 p.m. on the Co-operators Roughrider Radio Network.
