Saskatchewan Roughriders' quarterback Trevor Harris dropped his parents off at the Regina airport on Monday morning.

Tom and Suzanne travelled to the prairies from Waldo, OH for the West Semi-Final playoff game at Mosaic Stadium to watch their son and his teammates win 28-19.

"Their flight out was at 5 a.m.," Harris told SportsCage host Barney Shynkaruk. "They had a blast and were asking me if they should book their tickets to Vancouver -- I told them, go ahead. Let's speak it into existence, I'm big on that [and] I'm a big faith man, so let's speak this into existence."

Harris believes in the law of attraction which is defined as a practice by which a person manifests their desires by putting belief into intent. The Green and White play the West Final in Winnipeg on Saturday against the Blue Bombers. Saskatchewan has faced their prairie rivals three times in the regular season, winning once and losing twice. The Riders won 19-9 in Week 7 but lost 35-33 in Week 13 and 26-21 in Week 14.

Due to an injury Harris sustained in Week 3 when he sprained his MCL against the Hamilton Tiger-Cats, he did not play in Week 7 versus Winnipeg. Shea Patterson started in that victory against the Bombers. Harris returned to the starting lineup in Week 11 against the Montreal Alouettes.

The six-foot-three, 212-pound QB finished the game against the Lions completing 26-of-33 passes for 279 yards with one touchdown. Harris heaped praise on his receivers for their effort against B.C.

"We have four or five guys out there that can go for 100 yards at any given moment," Harris said. "I would put our core up against anybody's and we've got a selfless receiving core."

Prior to the regular season, Harris made wristbands with his mantra "Don't Flinch" and Corey Mace's mantra "Build It."

"We're trying to build something special in this organization, the culture that we have, the expectations and really getting this fan base excited," Harris explained his mantra. "It's something that's always spoke to me no matter what is going on, you trust your plan and never flinch."

26,135 people were at Mosaic Stadium for the West Semi-Final win over the Lions. Harris is grateful for the Rider fans who had the opportunity to come and watch the team's first playoff win in 1,070 days.

"The fans for this game were exactly what you'd expect when you hear about trying to play at Mosaic and making it difficult," Harris said. "That's what I envisioned when I signed here. This is the sort of crowd that we need to put on for and they did a tremendous job."

The Riders travel to Winnipeg to take on the Bombers in the West Final. Countdown to Kick-off begins with Justin Dunk and Wes Cates live at 2:30 p.m. Dave Thomas and Luc Mullinder join at 4:30 p.m. with the kick-off to follow at 5:30 p.m. on the Co-operators Roughrider Radio Network.
